64Gbps speeds, a removable tray, and a lock that keeps your data exactly where you want it. Akasa has launched a new solution built for anyone who regularly installs, swaps, or secures storage drives. The M.2 NVMe SSD to PCIe Adapter Card with Removable Tray, model AK-PCCM2P-06, is designed for IT administrators, system integrators, and PC builders who need fast, reliable, and secure SSD installation without the usual hassle of screws and full teardown.

What Makes This Adapter Card Different

The card delivers data transfer rates up to 64Gbps on a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, while staying backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 x4 at up to 32Gbps. Its standout feature is the removable, lockable tray, which lets users swap the M.2 SSD in and out without ever removing the adapter card itself from the PCIe slot, cutting down on downtime during maintenance.

It fits PCIe x4, x8, and x16 slots, making it compatible across desktop, workstation, and server motherboards. The tray supports M Key M.2 NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 form factors, with a built-in movable clip that holds the drive in place without extra mounting screws. A latch and key lock further secure the tray, which is a useful safeguard for shared workstations or environments where controlled access to storage matters.
