Sandisk Launches NAS 600 and NAS 800 SSDs in India: High-Endurance Storage Built for Prosumers and Small Businesses

Sandisk has just given prosumers and small businesses a serious reason to rethink their storage setup. The company has launched its new SANDISK NAS SSD portfolio in India, purpose-built for network-attached storage (NAS) systems that increasingly power collaborative, always-on workflows and private cloud deployments.

Why Sandisk Launch Matters

As more small businesses and creative professionals lean on NAS for shared, high-speed storage, the demand for drives that can handle constant multi-user activity — without slowing down or wearing out — has grown fast. Sandisk’s new lineup targets exactly that gap, offering two SSDs tailored to different NAS setups: one for upgrading existing hybrid systems, and one for full all-flash performance.

Sandisk Meet the Lineup

The SANDISK NAS 600 SATA SSD slots directly into existing 2.5-inch SSD bays, making it a straightforward, silent upgrade path from noisy HDDs — ideal for small teams modernizing their setup without an infrastructure overhaul.

The SANDISK NAS 800 NVMe SSD is built for heavier lifting: databases, virtualization, content creation, and even agentic AI workloads, backed by TLC 3D NAND and validated compatibility with leading NAS systems.

What Sandisk Is Saying

“Today’s prosumers, creative professionals, and small businesses are managing larger datasets, collaborating across teams, and relying on systems that need to perform around the clock,” said Anil Moolchandani, VP of product management at Sandisk, on the design philosophy behind the new portfolio.

Pricing and Availability

Both drives launch in September, available on Sandisk.com and select retailers worldwide. The NAS 600 starts at $179.99 (500GB), while the NAS 800 starts at $309.99 (960GB). Full details are available at Sandisk.com/NAS.
