Spider-Verse 3 Release Date: Colombia

Some fans will meet Miles Morales’ final chapter a week before everyone else. Sony has quietly moved one market’s date forward, and it hints at a big marketing push.

Spider-Verse 3: The Big Update

Sony Pictures Colombia’s official website now lists Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse for June 10, 2027. That’s eight days before its US date of June 18, 2027, which falls over Father’s Day weekend.

European markets are also expected to open a few days ahead of the US, with reported dates of June 4, June 16 and June 17 for countries including France, Germany and Poland.

Most of these dates are estimates based on how Sony handled Across the Spider-Verse, so treat them as educated guesses until confirmed.

Why Colombia First?

Studios often stagger international releases to build word of mouth. Sony did something similar last time, opening Across the Spider-Verse in markets such as Colombia, Mexico and the Philippines a day or two early. Eight days is a much bigger head start.

Latin America is a key region for the franchise, and Miles has Puerto Rican roots on his mother’s side. Mexico alone earned over $29 million for the previous film.

The Stakes Are High

The trilogy has a strong track record. Into the Spider-Verse won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature and earned $375.5 million worldwide. Across the Spider-Verse nearly doubled that with $690.5 million. Together they’ve passed $1 billion.

Sony will likely aim for about $1 billion with the finale, which would require a major marketing push. It’s also the first Spider-Verse film in the 1.43:1 IMAX ratio.

When Will It Stream?

Sony’s new Pay-1 deal with Netflix covers the film. The five-year pact runs from 2027 to 2032 and makes Netflix its global streaming home after the theatrical run. The previous film reached Netflix 151 days after its theatrical debut, so a similar gap is likely.
