Indian Super League chooses Deltatre to design, develop and deploy graphics for 2020/21 season

Collaboration underlines Deltatre’s global ambitions and scope

LONDON – December 7th, 2020: Deltatre, the global leader in fan-first experiences, has extended its partnership with Indian Super League (ISL) for 2020/21, providing its best-in-class broadcast graphics service throughout the season.

Deltatre’s multi-platform graphics solutions give content owners the tools to deliver cutting-edge on-screen visualizations. For the 2020/21 season, Deltatre will design, develop and deploy ISL’s world feed match graphics and studio graphics – in English, Malayalam and Bengali – including touchscreen and augmented reality solutions for data-rich analysis.

The project is a major milestone in terms of augmenting the fan experience and boosting the league’s storytelling capabilities. This is crucial at a time in which fans will be predominantly watching from home, but also at a key juncture in the league’s development.

Deltatre’s work on this project includes a unique hybrid approach across multiple remote locations in addition to in-venue operations. Deltatre has installed services in four locations including three stadiums in Goa, and in the operations centre at the Star Sports studios in Mumbai. All work on this project will follow strict Covid-19 protocols.

Crews based in Goa and Mumbai will remain in a bio-secure bubble throughout the tournament.

Craig Harvey, Vice President, APAC, Deltatre: “Partnering with Indian Super League undoubtably showcases our best-in-class graphics solutions in a competition that continues to grow in popularity and scope. This year’s delivery is made more challenging with the pandemic, but our ability to adapt at short notice is testament to the innovation and technology investment we make as a business.

“This collaboration underlines Deltatre’s global ambitions and our increased presence in India. Sophisticated storytelling capabilities are central to satisfying modern fan demand and that is what will form the basis of this project.”

Deltatre has a long history of providing its graphics solution to some of the leading sports rights holders and properties around the world. Underpinned by the world’s most powerful gaming engine, Unity, Deltatre’s future-proofed, multi-platform graphics solutions help content producers create high-quality visualizations for broadcast, digital, and social usage in real-time.

The new Indian Super League season runs for five months, with 115 matches to be played.
