Google launches new Nest Audio smart speaker, arriving on 5th October_TechnoSports.co.in

The field of interconnecting devices is increasing in the market. With the demand for high-performing devices and the dependency on technology brought by the pandemic, many tech industries are trying innovations.

We have recently heard that Google is working on integrating its Chromecast streaming devices and Nest Audio speakers. Apparently, it is trying to give Google’s smart home and streaming gadgets a feature parity with Amazon and Apple.

It is a great idea to combine the streaming platform with a smartphone speaker. And customers already have all the hardware in their living room; there’s also the bonus of inviting customers to stay within a company’s ecosystem.

However, this feature to link smart speakers to streaming boxes is something that both Apple and Amazon already offer. Apple lets users link both HomePods and HomePod mini speakers to the Apple TV. Amazon, on the other hand, lets customers both use their Echo devices to control their Fire TVs and to output audio.

Google does not mention which devices the company is looking to link together. Nor does it say when the feature will arrive or what sort of use cases it’s looking to achieve. But with Google increasingly looking to push users toward its smart home devices, making them all work better together makes good sense. The interconnect device dependency is increasing. It would be a shame if Google didn’t dip its hand in this business. As to what and how this new feature will work remains to be seen.
