Realme is getting ready to launch a smartphone in the Realme 12 series with the addition being the Realme 12x 5G. Recently this device was spotted on the FCC certification website with the model number RMX3997. As per the FCC listing the Realme 12x 5G will come with 5G and NFC support to meet connectivity requirements. It is expected to run on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.
The Rumored Realme 12x 5G
Staying true to the design language of the Realme 12 series the appearance of the Realme 12x 5G seems to follow in line with its predecessors as noted in the FCC listing. The FCC listing also sheds light on the battery setup of the Realme 12x 5G. In contrast to the Realme 12’s battery with fast charging support of up to 45W the Realme x2 is set to have a slightly smaller battery capacity of about 4,890 mAh with charging support of up to 15W.
Moreover, details about its display size have been disclosed; it reveals that the Realme 12x will feature a 6.67-inch HD display which is a tad smaller than the 6.72-inch one found in the standard model of the Realme x1.
The Realme 12x 5G has been spotted on certification platforms like Bluetooth SIG, TUV Rheinland, Bureau of Indian Standards, and EEC certification in Russia. The Bluetooth SIG certification reveals the device’s name and Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility while the TUV Rheinland listing specifies a battery capacity of 4,900mAh and support for 15W charging.
Moreover, the device has been spotted on the Camera FV-5 certification, shedding light on its camera specifications. The Realme 12x 5G is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor with a 28mm equivalent focal length and an f/1.8 aperture. On the front, users can anticipate a 26mm focal length with an f/2.0 aperture.
