East Bengal Away Kit 23/24: East Bengal have unveiled their away jersey for the 23/24 ISL season in remarkable fashion. They released a video on their social media platforms to reveal the new kit with manager Carles Cuadrat starring in the short video package.
The video shows the manager looking completely like a Bengali, with a Dhuti-Kurta, glasses and reading a newspaper while seated on a chair. A radio was also placed beside the manager to give the shot a nostalgic feel.

A second character then came along and presented an ইলিশ (Hilsa) fish to him, with Cuadrat nodding in approval upon being impressed. The Hilsa fish is associated with East Bengal, while Prawns are associated with their arch-rivals, Mohun Bagan SG.
Carles Cuadrat is then seen wearing the new away jersey while having a Hilsa fish in hand. The manager has quickly endeared himself to the East Bengal faithful after guiding the team to the finals of the 2023 Durand Cup.
The Red and Gold Brigade eventually fell short of the title, but put up a remarkable fight in the tournament even though they were not expected to make it that far.
The Kolkata club has already revealed their home jersey for the coming season, and will don a white and red kit away from home.
