All About the New Tata Altroz iCNG!

The company said that the two CNG cylinders are shielded by valves and pipelines under the load floor, which reduces the risk of potential damage. In order to drive economically and environmentally friendly, people are increasingly choosing alternative fuel sources, according to Shailesh Chandra, general director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. CNG has become very popular as a fuel due to its widespread availability and accessibility.

The innovative iCNG technology was introduced by Tata Motors in other models Tiago and Tigor in January of last year, which allowed the company to address the issue of choosing a CNG vehicle’s sacrifice of aspirational features and considerable cargo capacity. “We anticipate that more purchasers in the personal segment would seriously consider this choice given the advancement of twin-cylinder CNG technology and enhanced features. Our multi-powertrain plan in the Altroz lineup today includes petrol, diesel, iturbo, and iCNG, giving customers a variety of options,” Chandra added.

He continued, “The Altroz iCNG will strengthen Tata Motors’ ‘New Forever’ range and maintain growth momentum in passenger cars.” The Altroz iCNG has additional safety features like a microswitch to keep the vehicle off while being refuelled and thermal incident protection, which, as a precaution, shuts off the engine’s access to CNG and releases gas into the atmosphere.

In addition, the new model has high-end features including projector headlights, LED DRLs, R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels, and an 8-speaker touchscreen entertainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay compatibility, according to Tata Motors.
