Konrad Laimer is still one of the top targets for Bayern Munich this summer. The Bavarians are pushing to sign the Austrian from RB Leipzig, but it isn’t an easy deal considering that they are direct rivals in the Bundesliga.
Bayern are offering around €18-20 million for the player, and have opened the bidding for their target. They are keen to reunite him with Julian Nagelsmann, who was the former manager of RB Leipzig himself.
Bayern pushing to sign Konrad Laimer
The midfielder has hinted at an exit from Leipzig this summer. And things seem to be moving in the right direction for the deal to go through. Konrad Laimer would be a direct replacement for Corentin Tolisso, who left the club as a free agent a few days ago.
Ryan Gravenberch is also another transfer target for Bayern Munich this summer, and they have agreed a deal with Ajax for him. Only the medical assessment and official announcement remains for the transfer to be completed.
Laimer has been with the Red Bull group for the majority of his career, first making a mark at RB Salzburg before moving to their sister club in Germany. He has established himself as one of the first names in midfield over the last few years, and could now be on his way to the record Bundesliga champions.
