Netflix has at last dropped the trailer of the Danish crime thriller series The Chestnut Man. The story of the series has been adapted from the novel ‘The Chestnut Man’ by the award-winning writer Soren Sveistrup, who is also the creator of ‘The Killing’.
It seems that this series will be the next hit thriller series. It has been produced by SAM Productions who have previously produced Netflix Original series Ragnarok, the story starts in search of the body of the young woman in the playground in the quiet place of Copenhagen. It is just like a terrible scene, as the young woman was fiercely murdered with missing of the one hand.
It is very surprising that next to her they find a small doll which is made of chestnuts and matchsticks has been lying. In this the new young and determined detective Naia Thulin takes the case with her new partner Mark Hess to find out the terrible serial killer in Copenhagen, to figure out the chestnut man as he has left his calling card at each of the crime scenes.
The two detectives soon find out a strange and mysterious piece as the evidence on the chestnut man that has been linked with the case of this missing girl who is the daughter of a politician, Rosa Hartung, who just has missed out a year earlier and had been presumed to be dead. It is a complete mysterious chilling thriller with suspense that has provided a great response after the book has been revealed. After watching the trailer, it seems very promising with the suspicious ambiance with the spooky-sounding children’s song.
This series is going to be a global hit with its detective heroine Sarah Lund with her lovely jumpers, and start an entire fandom for the thriller category. This debut novel, it has released in the U.S. in September 2019 that has got a huge response. It is definitely an incredible novel.
This series seems like with such the usual ingredients of the category. It seems that there is a gruesome serial killer having a complex plot with a lot of red herrings, who is a strong female protagonist, and have two detectives who are not like each other, with such moody atmosphere, and also have a creepy crime scene of the calling card.
Sveistrup told that Netflix had shown a strong, real interest in her book and also she had been very excited about the dealing and confidence on Netflix that will also become the genuine place for this series.

It is a novel which has already been translated into 28 languages and has been published in more than 50 countries, we are also would be able for releasing this thrilling Danish story, in the Danish language across the world.
This series will contain six 50 minutes episodes’ and has been directed by Mikkel Serup and Kasper Barfoed, and the series has been co-written by Soren Sveistrup, Dorte W. Hogh & Davis Sandreuter, also with the writer of Soren Sveistrup.
