Google Pixel 6 series is one of the most highly anticipated flagship models that we look forward to this year. Not only is Google going with an all-new fresh and revamped look for both the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro devices. A new leak has emerged that reveals the spec sheet of both the devices ahead of their official release later on this year.

From the recent leaks that have emerged, the Pixel 6 will have a 6.4″ AMOLED screen. The GS101 custom chipset that it will feature will be paired with 8GB of RAM and buyers will be able to choose between having 128GB or 256GB of storage.
When it comes to the cameras, the Pixel 6 will have a 50MP wide-angle main camera and a 12MP ultrawide angle camera. The front camera will have an 8MP sensor and will be powered by a 4614mAh battery and will run on Android 12 out-of-the-box.
The Pixel 6 Pro will have a 6.71″ Plastic OLED(PeOLED) screen. It comes with 12GB RAM and will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage variants. Along with the 50MP primary wide camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, the Pixel 6 Pro has a 48MP telephoto camera. It will also come with a bigger 5,000mAh battery.
The fascinating part that the leak revealed is that the Pixel 6 series will receive software support for a minimum of 5 years. It was not specified if it means five separate OS upgrades or a combination of OS upgrades and security updates that goes up to 5 years.
We can expect a minimum of three OS upgrades, maybe even four, with a fifth-year for additional security updates before its end of life. While there is no confirmed release date for the Pixel 6 series yet, the source reveals that we can expect it to release in October.
