AMD has been pretty silent regarding launching new GPUs in 2021, except for the RX 6700 XT, which to be fair is good mid-range GPU for the price. Also, it launched the RX 6000M mobile GPUs recently at Computex, but AMD has frankly struggles to keep up with its GPU supply even though they are really convincing this time.

Reports even say that AMD had fewer GPU sales in Q1 of 2021 compared to Q1 of 2020. Due to the current global chip shortage which is terrorizing the tech industries, AMD’s standalone GPU supplies have been in crisis and its market share in Q4 2020 declined to a multi-year low. Apart from this global chip crisis and all the sad stories behind it, NVIDIA is strong enough to launch to keep on bringing new GPUs to the market, thanks to its partnerchip with Samsung Foundry. TSMC is having a hard time in keeping up with AMD’s increasing demands, so launching new desktop GPUs won’t make any sense.

In that case, AMD could indeed make on of its already great GPU even better, here, we are talking about their flagship Radeon RX 6900 XT. Having reviewed this already, the only thoughts we had is if it could have got better cooling, it could have performed even better.

Many OEMs like Sapphire, ASUS did the same, but these liquid-cooled GPUs were rare and very expensive to afford. We have spotted a liquid-cooled unreleased AMD Radeon RX 6900 XTX multiple times before and the most recent one appeared in Chinese-assembled Custom PCs.

So, this means a new flagship GPU by AMD is very real and clearly, this is liquid-cooled version of the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card will be named as AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT LC ‘Liquid Cooled’. In that listing, we saw no details available, but rumors say that the card might use the RDNA 2 based Navi 21 XTXH GPU.

The AMD Radeon RX 6900 XTX LC graphics card might come packed with the Navi 21 XTX GPU which is an entirely enabled die featuring 80 Compute Units or 5120 SPs.

The card also gonna feature 16GB of GDDR6 memory across a 256-bit bus interface, a 512 GB/s total bandwidth, having clock speeds of 2015 MHz base and 2250 MHz game clock at reference specs. The card will also feature 128 MB of Infinity Cache on the GPU die.

If AMD releases a new Navi 21 XTXH GPU, it will increase the power limits for some ultra-high-end AIB models. While we thought the card might only be restricted to Asian Pacific market, you are wrong. It is because a new Sapphire Radeon RX 6900 XT with liquid cooling has been spotted recently in Brazilian stores with an estimated shipping date of June 30th.

However, you will shocked to see the price of the GPU, listed at a whopping 23,530 Brazilian Reals, when coverted, is around 4,660 USD. The major difference in this card and the regular RX 6900 XT is that the bandwidth of this GPU has been increased to 18 Gbps and a higher boost clocks of 2435 MHz.
