The Story So Far: Picking Up From Season 2’s Cliffhanger

“The path of true love never runs smooth, especially in Silver Falls. The last time we saw the Walters, Jackie and Cole finally confessed their love for each other, only for Jackie’s boyfriend — and Cole’s brother — Alex to overhear, but their conversation was interrupted when Walter patriarch George was rushed to the hospital,” reads the Season 3 logline.

The new chapter begins immediately after Jackie Howard, Cole Walter, and Alex Walter reached their most explosive moment yet. My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 arrives with a medical crisis, three new cast members, and the same impossible love triangle.

The upcoming season delves into the aftermath of the events from the previous season, with Alex returning to the rodeo, Cole exploring race car driving, and Jackie facing her past when a childhood friend arrives in town.

What Is New in Season 3?

Creator, showrunner, and executive producer Melanie Halsall spoke to Netflix to tease what’s to come, noting that Jackie and the Walter boys are growing up: “A lot of this season, more than other seasons, is about growing up, maturing, and stepping into who these characters are going to become.”

Fans can expect a more serious and moody tone in Season 3, as the show’s aesthetic evolves to reflect the deeper complexities of the characters and their relationships.

New Cast Members Joining Season 3

Not only will Naveen Paddock be shaking things up as a handsome and charming new intern for Jackie’s Uncle Richard this season, but a long-lost Walter family member portrayed by Erin Karpluk will come out of the woodwork. Karpluk will play Hannah, nomadic sister of George and mother of Isaac Arellanes and Lee Garcia. Isaac and Lee live with George and Katherine Walter with their father serving in the military while their mom took off for unknown reasons, leaving them in Silver Falls.

All favourite cast members are returning for the third season of the romance show, including Nikki Rodriguez, Sarah Rafferty, Marc Blucas, Noah LaLonde, Ashby Gentry, Connor Stanhope, Jaylan Evans, and Corey Fogelmanis.

About the Series

The hit coming-of-age drama is based on Ali Novak’s popular Wattpad novel and produced by Sony Pictures Television and iGeneration Studios, the team behind The Kissing Booth trilogy.

The series follows Jackie Howard’s move from the bright lights of New York City to the farms of Colorado after her family tragically dies in a car accident. Now a surrogate member of the Walter family, Jackie quickly finds herself smitten with two of the brothers: kind, nerdy, and sensitive Alex and the former quarterback turned bad boy with a heart of gold, Cole.

Season 4: Already Confirmed and Filming

Before Season 3 was released, Netflix confirmed during its upfront presentations to advertisers in May 2026 that the show would be back for Season 4.

A day before its Season 3 premiere, Netflix confirmed that filming is already underway in Calgary and that Season 4 is slated for a 2027 release.

With the Season 4 pickup, this is the second consecutive year that My Life with the Walter Boys has been renewed before its pending season’s release. The fourth installment is slated for 2027.
