Realme is teasing the launch of a new smartphone codenamed ‘Quicksilver’. The recent official post for this device claims that the smartphone will feature Snapdragon 778G 5G processor.
Realme has not mentioned the actual name of the smartphone but it will be a new 5G device with a new Snapdragon 700 series 5G chipset. On the other hand, Snapdragon 778G is officially launched today, and click here to know more about this chipset.
The company has not revealed the actual launch date but has mentioned Coming Soon. The first launch can also take place in the month of June.
According to some sources, the upcoming Realme ‘Quicksilver’ can be the Realme 8 Pro 5G or some other smartphone from a totally new smartphone series. But most likely it can be the Realme 8 Pro 5G.
The company had already promised to launch the Realme 8 Pro 5G but until now we have only got the Realme 8 5G. Realme has posted this on their global Twitter page which indicates that the product will launch at the global market first. Then it will make its way to China gradually.
According to tipster Debayan Roy, who goes by the name @Gadgetsdata on Twitter, claims that the smartphone will have a 6.4″ FHD+ HRR AMOLED display. It will have a triple rear camera setup including a 48MP primary and an 8MP + 2MP secondary lenses. There is nothing mentioned about the front camera. The device will be powered by a 4,500mAH and is expected to support 50W or 65W fast charging.
