The demand for gaming smartphones is increasing day by day and most of the smartphone manufacturers have been making good business with their gaming smartphones, such as Asus, Black Shark, and more. Reports have come out saying that, this time Redmi is also working on its very first gaming smartphone and put its name in the gaming phone manufacturers list. The upcoming gaming smartphone from Redmi is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and it may debut in China by the middle or at the end of this month.
As per some previous reports, a Redmi smartphone with model number M2104K10C (codename: Ares) will soon appear on various certification websites, such as TENAA and 3C, and that particular smartphone is likely to be the upcoming gaming smartphone from Redmi with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.

On the other hand, a smartphone with model number M2104K10I has recently been spotted in India’s IMEI database. But in India, the same smartphone is expected to arrive with the POCO branding (probably an F-series flagship from POCO). This is not a new thing for us as most of the time we’ve seen that Redmi smartphones of China arrive in India with the branding of POCO. As it will be a gaming smartphone, the performance has to be top-notch. The Dimensity 1200 will not disappoint us and regarding the display, we can expect an AMOLED panel with a higher refresh rate of at least 120Hz with a higher touch-sampling rate as well.
