When Dell launched its 7000 series it became an instant hit among business users. To date, the importance of the series hasn’t been lost and it seems that Dell understands the value that the 7000 series holds for its company. Hence, for this year’s biggest IT event, the OEM has announced to expand the 7000 families even further.
According to sources, Dell is expanding the series with the new Latitude 7520. For the first time, business customers get the option to order the Latitude 7000 series with a 15.6 inch screen.

The first-ever entry in the 7000 families with a 15-inch screen. Up until Til now, there was no option for the Dell users to go for a 15-inch model for their business purpose. But after the launch of 7520, the gap which was missing in the 7000 series will now be filled.

There are no major changes in the design of the new models when compared to their 2020 predecessors. Even when we compare the upgrades in the new model they are not as big as the company has done for some of its other models. but for the two new entries, the maximum battery capacity has been decreased going down from 68 to 63 Wh. But due to that, the new models are slightly thinner, lighter, and more compact than their predecessors.
But the soon-to-be-launched new entrants of the 7000 series will come with Intel Tiger Lake processors. Reports indicate that they will have up to 32 GB on-board memory. The new Dell laptops are supposed to be available in March. Dell did not disclose a starting price at this point. Let’s wait for the official CES 2021 event to unfold.
