Mahabharat: Firoz Nadiawala Going to Make Rs. 700 Crore Film 

Firoz Nadiadwala already started to work on Mahabharat and targets to build it into the most visually stunning movie ever for an Indian film. Recently, Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva already considered as Rs 420 Crore but it has appeared that there is another upcoming Hindi movie that will soon set to overtake not only Ayan Mukherji’s directorial but also Rajnikanth’s 2.0 become expensive film ever. The new reports have confirmed that the producer Firoz Nadiadwala is making a plan to shoot the epic tale of Hindus, ‘Mahabharat that’s set to cost Rs 700 crore budget.

One source from Bollywood Hungama confirms that “Firoz Nadiawala has begun work on Mahabharat and aims to make it the most visually stunning film we in Indian cinema.” he also added, “The man production will take another couple of years. The main filming will start in the first quarter of 2025. it will hopefully be released in the original Hindi language and dubbed in multiple languages In December 2025.” 

According to the sources, Firoz Nadiawala said, “The entire story of the Mahabharat will be coveted in three hours,” the filmmaker believes that this film will be India’s answer to marvel and DC films along with The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, a Harry Potter, and the others. The most important risk factor is its budget which Is expected to be Rs.  700 crores. As a result, it‘s going to be the most successful Indian film ever. In the lead roles, we will see Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh.

The upcoming film is going to draw inspiration from Nadiadwala’s own 1965 epic Mahabharat which featured Pradeep Kumar, Padmini, and Dara Singh in the lead roles. Firoz Nadiawala says, “the 1965 Mahabharata film was a blockbuster film at the box office,” Firoz and the team are following the same story and format in the film. Most of the action would be real, a la Gladiator or Kingdom of Heaven rather than DX-heavy.

Beyond the VDX, Firoz desires the characters of storytelling, emotions, and dialogues. Furthermore, “the background score will be recorded in Los Angeles, USA, and it will be grand and cinematic, similar to Zimmer’s BGM. The FX can be handled by a world-class company based in Los Angeles.
