Custom AMD Radeon RX 6400 graphics card goes for sale already

Multiple RX 6400 cards are already on sale in China and other locations, according to a recognised leaker@momomo_us. All of these cards look to be one-of-a-kind. An MSI AERO ITX variant, as well as a relatively unknown Chinese brand TAA, are now available for purchase.

The MSI model is available for $51,500 or $48,213, but ‘momomo_us’ does not specify where those merchants are situated, because there are other Spanish-speaking countries that use the dollar symbol as their currency. However, this leak indicates that the card is ‘in stock’ at least at one retailer.

The alleged Radeon RX 6400 card is now available is identical to the OEM variant

Not only did one of the vendors advertise the new card, but he also supplied a GPU-Z screenshot with all of the card’s specifications. We may deduce from this that the card has nearly identical specifications to the OEM variant introduced in January, with a ‘Game Clock’ of 2039 MHz and a boost of 2321 MHz.

Surprisingly, the memory speed appears to have been lowered from 16 Gbps (2000 MHz) to 14 Gbps (1750 MHz) on this card. Official RX 6400 specifications are 16 Gbps, which either indicates that certain aftermarket cards will have lower speeds or that this is a model issue.

The benchmark in the screenshot is Ludashi’s all-PC test, in case you were curious. However, it’s not recommended to install this programme because it is difficult to remove and is not well-known outside of China.

With the card for sale about three weeks before its scheduled release, it’s possible that this isn’t an official embargo lift, but rather individual retailers surreptitiously trying to clear out their stock.
