iQOO Z5x will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC

iQOO is all set to launch its latest Z-Series smartphone, the iQOO Z5x, in China on the 20th of October. The company has now revealed in the latest teaser that the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Diensity 900 chipset.

The Dimensity 900 chipset is a 5G capable chip that is built on a 6nm process with two Cortex-A55 units at 2GHz for efficiency.

The GPU side is covered by the Arm Mali-G68 chipset, the iQOO Z5x will also house a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a headphone jack.

The teaser images share on Vivo China’s website reveal that the handset will come in two color options.

The upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a 6.58″ Full-HD+ 1080 x 2408 pixels TFT screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a high refresh rate.

Coming to the camera specs of the device, it will have a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. It will have an 8MP selfie shooter.

In addition to this, it will run on Android 11 OS and have a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
