Acer TVs will be launching in India this month. The company confirmed the news last week. Now, a landing page of the Acer Smart TV lineup has gone live on Amazon India, which indicates that the launch may be around the corner. The listing has revealed some of the upcoming TV’s key features.
Acer has licensed Indkal Technologies based in Bengaluru to manufacture its smart TV range for India. Apart from Amazon India, the Acer TVs are expected to go on sale through Flipkart and offline stores. As per the listings, Acer is going to launch the Smart TV in 3 series i.e, Boundless Series, P Series and XL Series. Here’s everything you need to know
Acer Smart TV Boundless Series
The Boundless Series will have a frameless design with three different screen sizes, 43′ UHD, 50′ UHD & 55′ UHD. The display panel will have 4K UHD resolution, 1.07 billion colours, a wide colour gamut, and HDR10+ with HLG. On the software side of things, the Acer TV will run on the Android TV operating system.
The upcoming Acer TV will be powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor. The Acer TV will pack 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Audio on the TV could be handled by 24W high fidelity speakers. Connectivity-wise the TV will have three HDMI ports (1 ARC), an Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. This is going to be a budget 4k smart tv series from Acer with the starting price of Rs. 32,999
Acer Smart TV P Series
The Acer’s P Series consists of 3 different variants of 32’HD, 32’HD (Frameless) & 42′ FHD. It will be powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. Other Specs are the same as Boundless Series.
The Acer TV will offer connectivity features such as an Ethernet port, 3 HDMI ports (1 ARC), two USB 2.0 ports, a S/PDIF port, an AV-IN port, an antenna port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Other Specs of this Smart TV is still unknown. This Smart TV Series starting price is Rs. 16,00.
Acer Smart TV XL Series
The XL series will offer two bigger screen sizes of 58 & 70-inches. Other specs of the series are the same as the Boundless Series, the difference comes only in Screen size. The smart TV will also come with support for Dolby Audio and Chromecast. The starting price of the XL series is Rs. 47,999.
