Gaming enthusiasts rejoice! A treasure trove of exciting titles, including the highly anticipated Manor Lords, which currently holds Steam’s most sought-after title with more than 3 million users desperate to acquire it, is available in this week’s update for NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform.

But before you dive headfirst into building your medieval empire, let’s address some common misconceptions about Manor Lords, as explained by the solo developer at Slavic Magic.

Manor Lords: Not Your Typical Strategy Game

While Manor Lords boasts both city-building and battle mechanics, it’s not a full-fledged Total War competitor. Battles, though present, are designed to be more strategic and less frequent than the large-scale clashes found in other titles.

The core gameplay revolves around meticulously constructing and managing your thriving city.

Don’t expect a sprawling Grand Strategy experience either. World domination and complex political manoeuvres such as marriage alliances are not on the menu, even though the map features distinct regions.

The Manor Lords are dedicated to a more intimate, individual scale of lordships in the Middle Ages.

Lastly, remember that in games such as Kingdom Come: Deliverance or Mount & Blade there are elements of an Immersive RPG style. There is a distinct experience in the Manor Lords.

While there’s a “visit mode” that allows you to virtually stroll through your creation, it’s more of a cosmetic bonus. The core of the game is a classic “bird’s eye” perspective from conventional strategy games, where first person exploration is not allowed.

Manor Lords Delivers a Relaxed Yet Rewarding Experience

Manor Lords focuses on a more relaxed approach, in contrast to fastpaced competitive RTS games like StarCraft or Age of Empires. Transport of resources is time consuming, and aesthetics play a major role in designing cities.

That’s why it’s a perfect choice for players looking for a more contemplative pace, because it’s a calming, atmospheric experience interrupted by moments of strategic decision making.

GeForce NOW Leverages DLSS 2 for Enhanced Performance

Manor Lords offers an additional layer of visual pleasure to GeForce NOW subscribers on the Priority and Ultimate Levels. Support for DLSS 2,( Deep Learning Super Sampling), allows players to increase performance while maintaining stunning visual effects.
