Shershaah has released recently, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani which has become the most-watched film on the Amazon Prime Video. On Tuesday, Amazon Prime has shared that the film was watched by audiences in over 4100 Indian towns and cities as well as in 210 countries and territories around the world. The film was directed by Vishnu Vardhan and has become the most popular Hindi film of all times on IMDb with a user rating of 8.9, voted by more than 88,000 IMDb users, as per Dharma Productions.
Sidharth Malhotra who has played the lead role in the movie has become very overwhelmed, in order to celebrate the success of his war drama based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) has shared the news on Instagram with a caption that read, “Overwhelmed with the love and appreciation that we are receiving for #Shershaah. Thank you everyone for making it the most-watched film on @primevideoin.” Kiara Advani, who played Dimple Cheema in Shershaah, thanked her fans for all the “love, respect and appreciation you have showered on us for #Shershaah.”
While talking about the film which has become the most-watched movie on the OTT platform, the Director and Head, Content, Amazon Prime Video, India, Vijay Subramaniam, said, “We have always believed in content being paramount and seeing Shershaah’s resounding success further strengthens what we, as a service, have set out to do.
