Galaxy Z Flip 3 brochure just revealed pretty much everything ahead of launch

Samsung will next week launch its next generation of foldable smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. The South Korean manufacturer earlier announced pre-reservations of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 3 in India and is all set to take the curtains off the next generation of foldable on August 11 via an online presentation. Now, a detailed leak leaves less to the mystery as it details all the specifications and shows high-resolution renders of the two smartphones. We’re talking photos, features, and specs courtesy of what appears to be a brochure for the new foldable phone.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 specifications (Leaked)

As per a separate report by Winfuture, renders and specifications for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 give a pretty good idea of what to expect from the upcoming foldable. According to GizNext, which acquired the brochure, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will feature a 6.7-inch primary display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the external display will be 1.9 inches, which would be a lot bigger than the 1.1-inch panel on the previous Galaxy Z Flip.

The leaked Z Flip 3 brochure claims that the foldable phone has an IPX8 rating, which means it can withstand being in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes. In addition, the main screen’s Ultra-Thin Glass is reportedly 80% more durable than before, thanks to the “addition of a panel layer and protective film.” Last but not least, the brochure says the Z Flip 3 has Samsung’s “strongest aluminum frame yet.”

Under the hood, it may also come with the Snapdragon 888 SoC with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of optics, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 may come with a dual-camera setup on the outside that includes a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 sensor and OIS and a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens. On the inside, it may house a 10-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 lens.

The smartphone could come with a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging support. In terms of dimensions, the foldable is expected to measure 166×72.2×6.9mm and weigh 183 grams.
