This winter is we are going to get a blockbuster film that is Ghostbusters: Afterlife that has been intended to bring back that fanbase of the franchise together after their 2016 reboot. This has been done by the director Jason Reitman who just has done this by playing the aspects of the family of the film and that is the collaboration between himself and also his father, Ivan. The making of the film is just like an emotional experience for the duo as Jason said that his father wept tears of Joy after watching an early cut of the Afterlife.
He said that his father had not left much due to COVID 19 but he had taken a test, were the mask, and also drove done in front of Sony to watch with the studio. He revealed that after crying his father told that he is very proud to be his father which would be a great compliment for a son.
The main star Dan Aykroyd has said that for this prequel junior Reitman is one of the perfect choices to reheal the series. He said that Jason is the best inheritor of that legacy whether it is as a writer, storyteller, and director. The vision of him is just derived to be seamlessly, respectfully, and also very honestly from the real films. He just could not wait to watch the lines around the multiplex.
Plot
This latest film is following the story of the mother-of-two Callie who has inherited the property in Oklahoma from the father that she had no idea. McKenna Grace will play the role of her science-obsessed Phoebe and Finn Wolf hard will be playing the role of her petrol head son who also will found out themselves who are battling against the frightening ghouls while a supernatural element starts to shake their town.
After the family arrives at the old farm, they start to discover their connection with the Real Ghostbusters. On the other side, Trevor and Phoebe have just come in search of their grandfather was and also they are prepared to pick up the pack of the proton by themselves.
During that time Trevor will find out the retro ambulance that has turned Ghostbuster car and Phoebe will find out a device that has the ability to read psychokinetic energy which is just like an instantly recognizable device from the real movie.
This is the direct sequel of Ghostbusters of 1989s.
Ghostbuster: After Life ignoring the Reboot
It would not be acknowledged with the 2016 reboot from the director Paul Feig, instead, they decide to return the continuity of the first two films. It is assumed that it is just like a response to their financial performance of that reboot that is also featuring a team with Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Melissa McCarthy.

It is teased that all those characters are the original Ghostbusters that have been speculated by the fans, it is expected that they might be the family of Egon Spengler that has been played by the late Harold Ramis.
In this, we will also see Paul Rudd as high school teacher Mr. Grooberson. It is also coming to know that Mr. Grooberson will be the witness of the events of the first film as the children in New York and a giant Marshmallow Man has been rampaged along with the city.
It is confirmed that Rudd is involving in their Ghostbusters show through his official Twitter account as he has shared a video of the actor in front of the firehouse.
It also includes supporting cases like Fargo alum, Bokeem Woodbine as Sheriff Domingo, Celeste O’Connor, Oliver Cooper, and Tracy Letts.
Release Date
This film is one of the several Hollywood blockbusters that will be hit with delay due to coronavirus pandemic situation, it has been informed that this film is currently targeting the UK cinema that has set to release on 12th November Friday.
At first, this film was scheduled for the 10th July 2020 but after that, it had been pushed back to 5th March 2021and due to the spreading of the illness that happened in cinemas around the world that close the doors temporarily? It is the second time that this show has been pushed for the November date due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
