GTA V coming to Android phones via Xbox Game Pass on 8th April

Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V will be making a return to the Xbox Game Pass on 8th April, after its initial availability between January and May 2020.

GTA V will return to Xbox Game Pass for console and Microsoft xCloud cloud gaming service. It will allow users to play GTA V on their Android phone or tablet if they are subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

GTA V is one of the most popular and best-selling games since its launch in 2013. It was available for PS4 and Xbox One along with PC and it will also get next-gen compatibility to play on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The release on Microsoft xCloud will allow users to play the game without starting their consoles. xCloud is included for users subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate but is only available for Android as of now.

Microsoft separately announced that more than 50 games available in the xCloud library support touch controls, allowing users to play games on Android devices without a controller.

Apart from GTA 5, other games coming to Xbox Game Pass in April are Sony’s MLB The Show 21, Rain on Your Parade, and NHL 21. Rockstar Games could also introduce other titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 to Xbox Game Pass if the addition of GTA V to the Xbox cloud gaming service is successful.

Mobile gaming on Android will be getting a huge boost. The Android mobile gaming industry is on the rise and will be the next big thing in gaming industry in the coming years.
