AMD is all set to deliver their new Zen 3 based processors and among them, the EPYC 7643 Milan Server CPU is an important chip sporting 48-cores and 96-threads. Spotted by Leakbench, the EPYC 7643 posts some impressive scores on Geekbench 5.

Spotted on a Wiwynn server, the AMD EPYC Milan EPYC 7643 comes with a base frequency of 2.30 GHz and boost clock speeds of 3.4 GHz. The server processor scores 1,256 points in the single-core test and 33,348 points in multi-core.

Even though it comes with timid clock speeds and a 256 MB L3 cache along with 225W TDP, making it a whopping 33.14% faster than the current leader Ryzen Threadripper 3990X’s 25,047 points score.
