50cc to 200cc motorcycle sales June 2026: India’s 150cc to 200cc motorcycle market saw combined sales of 1,77,866 units in June 2026 across domestic dealerships. That marks a solid 32.25% year-on-year increase from the 1,34,491 units sold in June 2025. Data from Rushlane shows that the segment faced a 7.64% sequential drop compared to the 1,92,576 units sold in May 2026.

Performance motorcycles in this range continue to draw urban and semi-urban buyers looking to upgrade from commuter bikes. For instance, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V offers 17.55 PS and 14.73 Nm of torque, starting at around ₹1.23 lakh (ex-showroom) [UNCONFIRMED exact June 2026 price].

Motorcycle : Segment Leaders and Volume Drivers

TVS held the top position in June 2026 by selling 55,382 units of the Apache lineup. That represents a remarkable 33.82% annual increase from the 41,386 units sold in June 2025. This performance gives TVS a notable 31.14% share of the overall 150cc-200cc category. Month-on-month growth also stayed positive at 2.75% over May’s 53,900 units, solidifying its lead in sporty commuter bikes as detailed in in-depth industry reviews.

Bajaj came in second with 40,730 units sold of its Pulsar series, achieving a commendable 21.18% year-on-year growth. However, the brand did experience an 18.53% month-on-month decline from May’s 49,994 units. Models like the Bajaj Pulsar NS160, which produces 17.2 PS and 14.6 Nm, continue to be key products for the Pune-based manufacturer.

Mid-Tier Performers and Premium Alternatives

Honda secured third place with the Unicorn 160, selling 37,617 units and enjoying a 42.69% year-on-year rise. This model accounted for 21.15% of total segment volume, demonstrating that classic commuter styles still hold significant appeal.

Meanwhile, enthusiasts pushed sales for high-performance track-focused models like the Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0, which features a 155cc liquid-cooled engine delivering 18.4 PS and 14.1 Nm at an ex-showroom price.

Other notable contributors included the Hero Xpulse 200 4V, boasting an 18.9 PS oil-cooled engine, and the KTM Duke 200, which generates 25 PS and 19.5 Nm from its 199.5cc liquid-cooled motor [UNCONFIRMED 2026 pricing]. Together, the top three models—Apache, Pulsar, and Unicorn—accounted for 1,33,729 units, making up over 75% of the total market transactions.
