New Netflix Original Anime — April 2026

1. The Ramparts of Ice

If you love slow-burn romance and wholesome high school drama, this one’s for you. The story follows Koyuki Hikawa, a socially withdrawn student who keeps emotional walls up around everyone — except her best friend Miki. Everything changes when an oddly persistent boy named Minato Amamiya decides he’s going to break through those walls, whether she likes it or not.

Throw in a laid-back basketball player named Yota and you’ve got a delightful mix of awkward tension, relatable teen angst, and heartwarming moments. Think of it as the kind of anime that makes you smile at your screen alone at midnight. Perfect watch if you’ve been craving a check out more romance anime recommendations on TechnoSports kind of vibe.

2. Dandelion

Here’s the one that has manga fans buzzing. Dandelion is the debut manga of Hideaki Sorachi — yes, the same genius behind Gintama — and it’s finally getting its anime adaptation. The story centers on Tetsuo Tanba and Misaki Kurogane, two members of a special division tasked with finding earthbound spirits trapped by unresolved regrets.

Unlike other ghost-busting squads, the “Dandelion” team doesn’t rush spirits into the afterlife. They listen. They help souls settle their unfinished business with patience and compassion. With only 7 episodes, it’s a tight, emotional, and often funny ride. Voiced by Megumi Han and Chikahiro Kobayashi, the cast alone is worth tuning in for.

3. One Piece: Elbaf Island Arc

The Straw Hats are back — and they’re heading somewhere fans have been waiting years to see: Elbaf Island, the legendary home of the giants. After barely escaping the chaos on Egghead Island — where the Marines and the terrifying Gorosei launched a full assault — Luffy and crew were rescued by the Giant Pirates.

With 26 episodes expected in this arc, the Elbaf saga promises new alliances, ancient mythologies, and fresh threats standing between Luffy and the One Piece. The first episode is expected to drop around April 11, 2026, a few days after the Japanese broadcast.
