Xiaomi’s smart home and lifestyle brand, Mijia, has officially launched in India, introducing two new air purifiers: the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 and the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact. The debut aims to cater to the increasing demand for advanced indoor air quality solutions in Indian households.

Xiaomi Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 Targets Larger Spaces
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 is engineered for larger environments, offering effective coverage for areas up to 940 square feet, based on two air changes per hour (ACPH). It features a Particle CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of 443 m³/h and a Formaldehyde CADR of 218 m³/h, indicating its capacity to circulate and purify substantial air volumes. The device can purify a 108 sq ft room in approximately 3.5 minutes.
The Purifier 6 integrates a multi-stage PentaClean purification system, which combines advanced filtration, activated carbon, UV-C light, and Negative Ion technology to address a range of particulate and gaseous pollutants. The system is designed to reduce dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, and formaldehyde.
The unit includes a built-in color display providing real-time data such as PM2.5 and PM1 levels, temperature, humidity, and air quality indicators. Its compact design (2.2kg) and 3-in-1 filtration system capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, targeting common pollutants like dust, pollen, smoke, and pet dander. The Purifier 4 Compact offers a four-color air quality indicator for visual status updates.
