What more they Feature?

Both Xbox Series X and Play Station 5 supports Backward Compatibility. It means that Xbox Series X will support all the games previously released on Xbox One, Xbox, and Xbox 360. The same goes for Play Station 5, it will support all PS4 games but not PS3, PS2, and PS1 games as they have different architecture.

Xbox Series X Gamepad

The controller design of the Xbox Series X is similar to Xbox One. It is a wireless controller with most of the layouts and features the same as previous controllers. Microsoft has redesigned the direction pad by blending a conventional plus shape with the octagonal plate design of the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2’s alternate pad. A new capture button is incorporated on the controller which will let users capture screenshots or record videos with one button press instead of exploring a menu.

PlayStation 5 Gamepad

The PS5 controller will get DualSense that gives haptic feedback in the triggers. The controller is redesigned with the same layout but the overall look is plumper than the DualShock 4 with a rounded design.

The controller is incorporated with a microphone and a speaker to enable voice chat and (presumably) commands. The touchpad is the same as the DualShock 4, but still, it looks quite different.

Hope this guide will let you decide which of the next-gen consoles to buy. The Xbox Series X|S will release on November 10 and the PS5 consoles will release on November 12.
