Episode 1-3: The Premiere Lineup
Season 2 kicks off with three episodes at once — “Days of Past Future,” “A Force to Be Reckoned With,” and “Rise of Apocalypse – Part I.” That opening title flips the classic Days of Future Past storyline, fitting for a team scattered across eras: Rogue, Xavier, Nightcrawler, Beast, and Magneto landed in 3000 B.C. facing a young En Sabah Nur, while Jean Grey and Cyclops encountered Mother Askani and a young Cable in the future. Morph and Wolverine’s whereabouts remain a mystery heading in.

What’s Coming After
Following the premiere, new episodes land weekly: Episode 4 (“Rise of Apocalypse – Part II”) on July 8, followed by “Weapon X, Lies, and DVDs” on July 15 — a Wolverine-centric riff hinting at his Weapon X origins. The season is already sitting at a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes ahead of release.
About the Series
A direct continuation of the 1990s X-Men: The Animated Series, the show follows Marvel’s mutant heroes as they fight to protect a world that fears them — a franchise built on Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s original comics.
