WSO2, a provider of open-source infrastructure, has announced the appointment of Harry Ault as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Ault will oversee the company’s daily operations and strategic direction, collaborating with the executive team to advance its global presence and platform strategy.

Harry Ault brings over two decades of experience in revenue leadership, strategic partnerships, corporate development, and global go-to-market strategies. Prior to joining WSO2, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at SambaNova Systems, a company specializing in AI inference chip technology, where he managed global sales, marketing, field engineering, and support. His career is marked by a history of driving growth and scaling business strategies across various sectors.

He succeeds Dr. Sanjiva Weerawarana, the company’s founder and former CEO, who stepped down in May 2026. Devaka Randeniya, WSO2’s Chief Revenue Officer, served as Acting CEO during the transition and will continue to work closely with Ault.
