Cracked Walls, a New Doom Suit, and Wrecked X-Men Props: Inside Marvel’s D23 Reveal

Marvel didn’t just bring a trailer to D23 this year — it brought a crime scene. The Avengers: Doomsday booth turned into a full walkthrough experience themed around the TVA’s Repairs & Advancement division, and the wreckage on display is dropping some very loud hints about the movie’s plot.

First Look: Doctor Doom’s Second Suit

The showstopper is a brand-new, hooded alternate suit for Doctor Doom, marked as the first official look at the costume. It appears to be the cloaked look Doom wears in the Fantastic Four: First Steps mid-credits scene — likely the version he wears while winning the heroes’ trust, before the classic armored mask comes off both literally and figuratively.

Marvel : A TVA in Ruins

Fans touring the experience noticed cracked walls and rubble scattered throughout the set, with a TVA “employee” insisting everything is fine despite the visible damage. It lines up with long-running leaks claiming Doom devastates the TVA near the end of the film’s second act — essentially hiding a major plot beat in plain sight.

What’s on Display

X-Men Wreckage Raises Big Questions

Alongside the Doom reveal, a massive destroyed Sentinel head and a mangled Xavier’s School plaque all but confirm an X-Men universe gets torn apart in the film. Blueprints of the X-Mansion show only the ground and first floors — conspicuously omitting the basement level that houses Cerebro, the Danger Room, and the hangar, a detail longtime fans are already speculating about.
