The season opens with a spectacular celebrity owners’ showcase on January 24, featuring live performances and immersive fan experiences. This special festival day sets the stage for the competitive action that follows, blending sports with entertainment in a unique format.

Blockbuster Opening Match

League matches kick off January 27 with a highly anticipated rematch between last season’s finalists—Bengaluru Jawans and Pune United. This opening clash promises intense competition as both teams look to establish early momentum in the tournament.

Over 13 days, seven franchise teams will compete in 120 matches, culminating in the grand finale on February 8. The format combines world-class pickleball with celebrity participation, live performances, and community engagement that extends beyond traditional sports viewing.

Gaurav Natekar, Founder and CEO of World Pickleball League, emphasized that Season 2 focuses on creating an atmosphere where fans experience not just elite-level pickleball, but also the surrounding energy, performances, and community. The Swiggy Scenes partnership simplifies the ticketing journey while ensuring reliability.
