Swiggy, India’s prominent on-demand convenience platform, has announced the launch of Swiggy Builders Club. This new program is designed to provide external developers, startups, and enterprises with access to its AI commerce infrastructure, enabling the creation of AI-native experiences across its food delivery, grocery, and dining platforms.
The Builders Club initiative expands upon Swiggy’s earlier MCP (Merchant Commerce Platform) launch by creating an ecosystem layer around its core infrastructure. It aims to define how external entities engage with Swiggy, integrate capabilities, and scale promising solutions into deeper partnerships.

Swiggy Enabling AI-Native Commerce Experiences
At its inception, Builders Club will provide access to three MCP servers and over 18 API tools spanning Swiggy Food, Instamart, and Dineout. This access will allow approved developers to build AI agents, copilots, and assistants capable of executing real-world actions, such as placing food orders, purchasing groceries, or booking dining experiences.
The program positions external builders not merely as API consumers but as contributors and early participants in the Swiggy AI ecosystem. It is structured around community engagement, partnerships, and skills development, operating with an invite-led access model for quality control and community building.

Swiggy Builders Club is built on Amazon Web Services (AWS), leveraging its enterprise-grade AI stack. Key AWS services integrated include Amazon Bedrock for unified API access to various foundation models, AWS Trainium for enhanced AI chip performance, and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore for framework-agnostic agentic AI services.

Builders Club is intended as a convergence point for MCP integrations, Real World Skills, and the forthcoming Builders Platform for external developers.
