From Gang Boss to Delivery Guy: Ji Sung’s Wildest Campaign Move Yet in The Apartment Job

Running for apartment council president is one thing. Personally hauling packages door to door is another. In the upcoming episode of The Apartment Job, Ji Sung’s character takes his campaign to a whole new level — and the new stills are already stirring up curiosity.

The Apartment Job: Overview

What’s Happened So Far

The Apartment Job follows former Oasis Gang boss Park Hae Kang, who runs for president of his apartment complex’s resident council with one goal in mind: getting access to a massive hidden reserve fund meant for long-term repairs. Along the way, he ends up teaming up with fellow residents to uncover deep corruption within the complex.

Hae Kang previously confirmed the fund’s existence and entered a fake marriage with Kang Ha Ri, played by Ha Yun Kyung, building an entire fake family with his crew to boost his election chances.

Enter the “Delivery Avengers”

New stills from episode three show Hae Kang and his fake family fully committing to their next scheme — transforming into a group nicknamed the “Delivery Avengers” as they roam the sprawling apartment complex. Hae Kang trades his usual sharp suit for a safety vest and work gloves, hauling carts and sorting packages for residents. In one particularly memorable shot, he’s seen carrying a sack of rice over his shoulder while wearing a bright pink campaign jacket.

It raises an obvious question: is this delivery stunt just community service, or is it the move that finally wins over the neighbors’ votes?

Behind the Scenes

The production team shared that the cast’s chemistry, centered around Ji Sung, kept the set filled with warm, cheerful energy throughout filming. They teased that watching this group of former gang members slowly adjust to the mundane rhythms of apartment life will deliver both comedy and genuine suspense.

Fans can also catch Ji Sung in his previous drama, The Judge Returns, while waiting for the next episode.
