After the massive success of KGF: Chapter 2, director Prashanth Neel is set to deliver another visual extravaganza with Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. Salaar Trailer

Clocking in at an impressive 3 minutes and 47 seconds, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire‘s trailer plunges viewers into the heart of the fictional city of Khansaar. This vibrant metropolis faces the threat of ruthless invaders, described as even more perilous than historical figures Mahmud of Ghazni and Genghis Khan.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, portraying the city’s heir apparent, finds himself in a precarious position as the invaders seize control forcefully. To reclaim his throne and seek vengeance, he calls upon his childhood friend, Deva, played by the dynamic Prabhas. Deva, having pledged to protect his friend and the people of Khansaar, returns to face the impending chaos.

The trailer showcases a riveting alliance between Prabhas and Prithviraj, delivering powerful punches and intense action sequences. Much like SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire presents another compelling narrative with two formidable heroes at the forefront.

Cast

Adding to the star-studded cast are glimpses of Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu, contributing to the film’s diverse and talented ensemble. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, the powerhouse behind the successful KGF franchise, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire benefits from the same technical team that brought KGF to life.

Release Date

Scheduled to release on December 22, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire is set to captivate audiences in five languages – Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. The film, however, faces stiff competition at the box office, clashing with Rajkumar Hirani’s Bollywood venture Dunki, starring the iconic Shah Rukh Khan.
