Camera-First Flagship Experience
The X300 series prioritizes photography excellence. The X300 Pro’s main Sony LYT-828 sensor supports Hybrid Frame-HDR with 1.22μm pixels, promising exceptional low-light performance and dynamic range.
According to Vivo product manager Han Boxiao, the X300 Pro will use a 200MP 85mm telephoto camera, continuing Vivo’s tradition of telephoto photography leadership.
Design Evolution: Thinner Yet Powerful
Vivo has released teasers showcasing the camera bump design, drawing comparisons to Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro. The company appears focused on balancing camera capabilities with sleek aesthetics.
Software and Performance Updates
The Vivo X300 series will run OriginOS 6-based Android 15, offering the latest Android features with Vivo’s customization layer. This suggests improved performance optimization and new AI-powered photography features.
Competitive Positioning
With flagship-level camera specs and ultra-thin designs, the X300 series targets premium smartphone buyers seeking photography excellence. The 7,000mAh battery in the X300 Pro addresses battery life concerns often associated with camera-heavy flagships.
Launch Timeline and Expectations
The vivo X300 and X300 Pro are rumored to launch in China in October, with global availability likely following shortly after. The series is expected to reach India around October 2025.
The X300 series represents Vivo’s continued commitment to camera innovation, potentially setting new benchmarks for mobile photography in the competitive flagship segment.
