Vivo Pad 6 Pro Spotted at MWC 2026 with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Vivo quietly showcased the Pad 6 Pro at MWC Barcelona 2026 alongside the X300 Ultra, and a real-life image from the show floor has now confirmed the chipset and key design details. A specification card placed beside the tablet at the event confirms the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a 4K True-Color Display, and OriginOS 6 HD — the tablet-optimised version of Vivo’s OS.

What the MWC Sighting Confirms

The front of the Pad 6 Pro shows symmetrical bezels on all sides, while the rear features a circular camera module with two circular cutouts placed vertically — one for the camera sensor and one for the LED flash. The tablet also appears to have a dual-tone finish with a darker strip along the bottom.

This is a notable chipset switch for Vivo — the Pad 5 Pro ran on MediaTek Dimensity 9400, and the move to Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 marks a significant shift, bringing the kind of performance advantage that makes sense for multitasking, creative workloads, and high-frame-rate gaming on a large screen.

The ~13,000mAh battery is also a meaningful jump from the 12,050mAh cell in the Pad 5 Pro, and paired with an efficient new chipset, endurance should be one of the Pad 6 Pro’s strongest suits. The overall setup — including magnetic keyboard and stylus support — signals Vivo is targeting users looking for a laptop-like experience in tablet form.

A China launch is expected soon alongside the Vivo X300 Ultra, with global availability remaining unconfirmed for now.
