From Visakhapatnam to Tollywood: The Rise of Ayaan, the Voice Behind Sing Geetham

Telugu cinema has always had a soft spot for fresh faces with raw talent — and the industry’s next big introduction might just be a singer-turned-actor from Visakhapatnam. Meet Ayaan, the debutant headlining Sing Geetham, one of 2026’s most experimental Telugu films. Backed by Kalki 2898 AD producer Nag Ashwin and helmed by veteran director Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao, this is a debut unlike any other.

Ayaan Overview

Who Exactly Is Ayaan?

Ayaan is a singer and actor making his debut in Telugu cinema, hailing from Visakhapatnam, who relocated to Hyderabad to chase his cinematic dreams. He has built a loyal fanbase online through indie releases in both Telugu and Hindi, and has performed at stage shows and Carnatic music events — a classical tradition deeply rooted in South India.

Before going solo, Ayaan served as the lead vocalist of Band Capricio before eventually parting ways with them. His most notable breakthrough came when he collaborated with composer Anirudh Ravichander, lending his vocals to the Telugu version of Poolemo Virise from Love Insurance Kompany — a track that introduced his voice to mainstream Telugu audiences in a big way. pinkvillapinkvilla

Off-screen, he’s a proud pet parent who regularly shares moments with his dogs and cats on social media — honestly, an instant people-person.

What Makes Sing Geetham Special?

This isn’t your typical masala film. Sing Geetham is an experimental venture where all dialogues are delivered as songs, creating a continuous musical narrative throughout the film. Think of it as a full-length Carnatic-infused musical drama — a format rarely attempted in Indian cinema.

The story follows Prathap, who arrives in search of a better future and finds himself caught in an escalating conflict between modern development and the village’s closely guarded traditions, with secrets that challenge his beliefs, purpose, and destiny.

With Devi Sri Prasad composing the music and Nag Ashwin producing, the pedigree behind the film is hard to ignore. For fans of South Indian cinema’s boundary-pushing projects, check out our latest Telugu film coverage on TechnoSports for more updates.
