VIROSH Sangeet Magic: How Vijay & Rashmika Brought Geetha Govindam Full Circle at Their Own Wedding

There are weddings. And then there are weddings where the couple dances to the same songs that made the whole world fall in love with them in the first place.

That’s exactly what happened at the VIROSH Sangeet — and if you’re a fan of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, this one hits different.

From the Silver Screen to the Sangeet Floor

According to reports, the couple danced together at their sangeet ceremony on February 24, 2026, swaying to two iconic tracks from their breakthrough Telugu hit Geetha Govindam — Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale and Yenti Yenti. Both songs have been fan-favourite anthems for VIROSH supporters ever since the film’s release, and hearing them at the couple’s own pre-wedding celebration is nothing short of poetic.

What makes this especially emotional is the fact that Geetha Govindam was the very first film that brought Vijay and Rashmika together on screen. Their on-screen chemistry in that film was so electric, so real, that audiences spent years hoping it would translate into real life. On February 24, 2026, in Udaipur — surrounded by their closest people — it apparently did, in the most cinematic way possible.

VIROSH Sangeet — What We Know

Why This Moment Matters So Much

Geetha Govindam didn’t just launch Vijay and Rashmika as one of Telugu cinema’s most beloved pairs — it gave millions of fans a set of songs that became deeply personal. Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale in particular became a cultural touchstone, played at countless weddings across India. That VIROSH themselves chose to dance to it at their own sangeet? That’s not just sweet. That’s a full-circle moment that even the best scriptwriter couldn’t have written better.
