The new deal would see the winger become one of the best-paid players in the squad. His current deal runs out in 2024, and the new contract will run until 2028. His rumoured new salary is expected to be £170,000 per week.

Alongside the Champions League, Vinicius Jr also played a huge part in Madrid’s La Liga title win.

The player joined Real Madrid from Brazil when he was only 18 years old, and faced heavy criticism in recent years. But now, he has truly silenced his doubters after delivering on the biggest stage of club football.
