Vinicius achieves 100 Real Madrid wins faster than legends like Sergio Ramos and Marcelo

Vinicius played a key role in Real Madrid‘s 2-0 victory over Getafe at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday night, earning his 100th victory with the club. The Brazilian set up Casemiro for the game’s first goal with a brilliant assist, and he was a persistent menace to the opposition’s defense.

Earning 100 Wins with Madrid

Vinicius has 100 Real Madrid victories at the age of just 21 years and 271 days, overtaking club legends Marcelo, Raphael Varane, Gonzalo Higuain, Sergio Ramos, Isco, and Karim Benzema, who all reached their 100th victories at the age of 25 or older.

In total, the forward has appeared in 160 games for Real Madrid, winning 100 times, drawing 29 times, and losing 31 times. He scored the equalizer in his 100th match for the club against Real Sociedad in March 2021.

He was 20 years and 7 months old at the time, and only three of the club’s superstars – Raul, Iker Casillas, and Jose Antonio Camacho – had done it at a younger age.

About Vinicius

Vinicius, who was born in São Gonçalo, started his professional journey at Flamengo, where he made his official appearance at the age of 16. Vinicius was described as a “zippy left-winger or second striker” by ESPN journalist Dermot Corrigan shortly after he arrived at Real Madrid in July 2018.

Although he is most often used on the left-wing, he is capable of playing anywhere along the front line and has also played on the right and in the center.

Although his frail appearance, he is noted for his quickness, agility, and ability to dash at defenders, change directions rapidly, and beat opponents in one-on-one scenarios when in control of the ball. To summarize, he possesses a spark that might be utilized by a club that has struggled in recent games.
