Some heroes chase danger. Kunal Kemmu’s Hardik runs from it — and that’s exactly what makes the newly released VIBE trailer so much fun. Written and directed by Kemmu himself, the film throws two ordinary friends into an extraordinary national crisis, wrapping high-octane action inside a genuinely irreverent comedy.

Two Friends, One Impossible Mission
The trailer introduces Hardik (Kunal Kemmu) and Bugs (Sparsh Shrivastava), two inseparable friends unexpectedly picked for a dangerous assignment when the country faces a major threat. Their contrasting reactions drive the film’s comic energy — Hardik desperately wants out, while Bugs is fully ready to lean into the chaos. That mismatch alone sets up a promising dynamic for the film’s humor.
Preity G Zinta Steps Into a Commanding New Role
Playing Madam H, Preity G Zinta takes on a powerful figure tasked with sending the reluctant duo into action. It’s a notable shift for the actress, blending authority with the film’s quirky tone, and pushing Hardik and Bugs to confront their fears despite themselves.
What the Trailer Actually Delivers
From sharp one-liners to chaotic set pieces and energetic chase sequences, the VIBE trailer positions itself as a full-blown theatrical entertainer. The friendship between Hardik and Bugs stays central throughout, with their questionable choices and clashing personalities fueling most of the comedy. Backing them up is a solid supporting cast, including Vanshika Dhir, Yashpal Sharma, and Dinesh Lal Yadav in key roles.
Why This Combination Works
Kemmu wearing both the writer and director hats gives VIBE a distinct comic voice, while Zinta’s presence adds gravity to an otherwise lighthearted premise. Pairing peppy music with genuine stakes is a tricky balance for any action-comedy, but the trailer suggests the film knows exactly what tone it’s chasing.
