Vibe Teaser Out: Kunal Kemmu, Preity Zinta & Sparsh Shrivastava Are Here to Save the Nation — Accidentally

Bollywood just got its next big comedy event film, and the teaser is already breaking the internet. The official teaser of Kunal Kemmu’s upcoming film Vibe is out, and it features Preity Zinta and Sparsh Shrivastava in key roles. The wait for Kemmu’s follow-up directorial venture is officially over.

What Is Vibe About?

Vibe is an action-comedy written and directed by Kunal Kemmu that follows two ordinary friends who unexpectedly become the country’s last line of defence.

The film centres on two inseparable friends whose ordinary, unassuming lives spiral into an unpredictable, high-energy adventure that pushes their survival instincts and friendship to the limit.

The teaser kicks off with the classic pulse-pounding vibe of a spy thriller, but quickly flips the script to introduce Hardik and Bugs — portrayed by Kunal Kemmu and Sparsh Shrivastava — two unlikely secret agents thrust into a high-stakes mission, despite their visible doubts and hilarious lack of experience.

One of the teaser’s most talked-about moments? Preity Zinta’s character tells the duo that the nation needs them — really needs them — to which Kemmu’s character Hardik asks why they can’t just send famous spy personas like Pathaan and Tiger instead.

The tagline says it all: “Jabardast agents toh dekhe honge, ab zabardasti ke agents dekho.”

The Cast at a Glance

Preity G Zinta plays a commanding figure who pulls the two deeper into the danger — a character presented as composed, confident and several steps ahead of everyone around her.

The poster features Preity G Zinta commanding attention in a striking boss-lady avatar, while Kunal Kemmu, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Vanshika Dhir appear visibly distressed — hinting that whatever they’ve gotten themselves into has gone spectacularly off the rails.

Kunal Kemmu: Writer, Director, Actor

After Madgaon Express, Kunal Kemmu is back with another dark comedy, titled Vibe. The main question right now is whether the content will surpass what audiences saw in Madgaon Express — a sleeper hit that worked for its one-liners, non-stop entertainment, and three lead characters with equal screen space.

Kemmu produces Vibe alongside Chirag Nihalani under their banner Drongo Films.

Sparsh Shrivastava: Riding the Wave

Sparsh Shrivastava has starred in the Netflix crime drama Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega, the comedy-drama film Laapataa Ladies (2024), and the Amazon Prime Video series Dupahiya (2025). With Vibe, he is all set to add yet another crowd-favourite performance to his growing resume.

Preity Zinta’s Comeback Trail

Preity Zinta made her comeback to the big screen with the Aamir Khan-backed film Batwara 1947, eight years after Bhaiaji Superhit. While Preity Zinta has maintained a distance from the limelight for many years, it looks like Kunal has given her a character that has a lot to do with the main storyline.
