Two Hearts, One Door: New “Dream to You” Stills Capture a Quiet Kind of Closeness

Fresh off a rain-soaked first kiss, “Dream to You” stars Hwang In Youp and Hyeri are back with new stills that hint at an even deeper emotional bond forming between their characters — even with a literal wall standing between them.

What the New Stills Show in Dream to You?

ENA’s romantic comedy follows genius film director Woo Soo Bin (Hwang In Youp), who returns home after achieving his dreams, and reporter Ju Yi Jae (Hyeri), who has lost sight of her own. In the previous episode, an overwhelmed Ju Yi Jae found comfort in Woo Soo Bin’s support, leading the pair to decide to make a film together called “Gyeongseong Love Song.” Their growing connection culminated in a first kiss in the rain, setting the stage for what comes next.

The newly released stills show Woo Soo Bin standing alone in his room, pale and visibly in pain, while Ju Yi Jae watches from just outside the door, clearly worried. Leaning against opposite sides of the doorway, the two are shown gradually relaxing as they focus on one another — a quiet moment suggesting the start of a healing process between them.

What the Production Team Is Teasing

The show’s production team described Woo Soo Bin and Ju Yi Jae as gradually becoming healers for one another, and teased a heartfelt story of mutual salvation and slow-building romance as the two commit to seeing their shared film project through to the end.

Hyeri, known for her work with girl group Girl’s Day, has built a strong acting career across Korean television since transitioning from music — you can read more about her career on Wikipedia.

Why This Story Beat Matters

Pairing physical distance (the closed door) with emotional closeness is a classic device — and it works well here, signaling that even without words, these two characters understand each other. It’s a promising setup for the romance still to come.
