Marvel fans think they’ve cracked a hidden clue. A closer look at the newly unveiled Avengers: Doomsday logo has fans convinced it hides a reveal of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man donning the Iron Spider suit — and the internet can’t stop zooming in.
What’s Fueling the Buzz?
A first look image reportedly shows Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man in “Avengers: Doomsday” wearing his Iron Spider costume, tied to the film’s tagline “It all leads to Doom.” The image reportedly surfaced around SDCC, reigniting chatter that’s been building for weeks. X
Reports suggest the suit will feature a red-and-gold Ultimate Iron Spider-inspired design with a more premium, armored look and CGI-enhanced details, with some speculation that Doctor Octopus may have helped build it. Multiple entertainment accounts have echoed that Maguire’s suit reportedly resembles the classic red-and-gold Ultimate Iron Spider armor. ThreadsX
Not everyone agrees, though — some reports indicate the new suit will not follow a high-tech or nanotech-based Iron Spider-style design, and that Maguire initially wore a mo-cap suit simply because his final costume wasn’t ready during filming. Yahoo!
