The Wait is Over: SBS M’s “The Show” Confirms Epic Return Date After 7-Month Break!

Hey K-pop family! We’ve all been feeling that Tuesday-shaped hole in our hearts for a while now, haven’t we? Well, it’s time to get your lightsticks ready because the wait is finally over! On May 27, 2026, SBS M officially announced that our favorite music program, “The Show,” is ending its long hiatus. After seven months of silence and a massive rebranding effort, the stage is set for a grand reopening this June!

The Grand Return: Mark Your Calendars

“The Show” went off the air in late 2025 to undergo a series of “creative renovations” aimed at improving the viewer experience and global voting system. Fans have been anxious to see which rookies would get their first-ever win during the break, and now they finally have a chance. The broadcast will resume its regular schedule starting Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Meet the New MC Trio

What’s a comeback without a fresh MC lineup? The production team has confirmed that WayV’s Xiaojun, CRAVITY’s Hyeongjun, and UNIS’s Nana will be leading the show into this new era.

Xiaojun and Hyeongjun are already known for their hilarious chemistry, and adding the bubbly energy of Nana makes this a “visual and talent” powerhouse trio. We can’t wait to see their special “opening stage” next week!
