Two seasons in, and this friend group still isn’t done wrecking each other’s peace in the most lovable way possible. Netflix’s Emmy-nominated comedy The Four Seasons is officially heading into production for Season 3, and the update finally gives fans a real timeline to hold onto.
Filming Locked In For Fall
According to newly released production listings, Season 3 has entered pre-production, with the eight-episode season set to begin filming in mid-September 2026 and wrap by mid-December. Exact locations haven’t been confirmed, but given the show’s roots, expect the New York/New Jersey area to stay central, with a possible return trip to Italy for good measure.
Where The Four Season 2 Left Everyone
The Season 2 finale scattered the friend group across continents and emotions alike. Danny rushes home to Philadelphia after a family medical emergency, and Claude makes the leap to move in and help care for his mother. Jack and Kate close their Italian getaway on a high note after Kate coaches him through a marathon following his tearful confession of feeling like a failure. Meanwhile, Anne’s chaotic attempt at reinvention spirals into a mortifying texting mishap — but a pep talk from Ginny convinces her to stay behind and house-sit in Europe. The season closes on a twist: her new neighbor is played by David Tennant.

When Will It Land On Netflix?
Netflix hasn’t confirmed a release date yet, but past seasons offer a solid pattern: Season 1 arrived about six months after wrap, and Season 2 followed similarly. With filming ending mid-December 2026, a summer 2027 release — likely May or June — looks like the safest bet.
The show is loosely inspired by the 1981 Alan Alda film of the same name, and its steady creative team of Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield keeps giving Netflix one of its most dependable comedies. For more streaming updates like this, check out TechnoSports.
