Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming movie Thalapathy 69 has been creating waves in the film industry for all the right reasons. As the highest-paid Indian actor, Vijay’s staggering salary for the film has grabbed headlines, but fans are equally intrigued by the compensation of the rest of the star-studded cast.

Among them, Bobby Deol, despite his recent blockbuster success, is reportedly earning just 1.8% of Thalapathy Vijay’s salary. Let’s dive into the details of this much-anticipated film and its cast fees.

Bobby Deol in High Demand After ‘Animal’ Success

2023 has been a stellar year for Bobby Deol, thanks to his powerful performance as the antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action-drama Animal, where he starred alongside Ranbir Kapoor. His role in the film was widely praised, making him a hot commodity in the film industry. This newfound acclaim has landed Bobby in several big projects, including Suriya’s Kanguva and Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

Yet, despite all this momentum, Bobby Deol’s salary for Thalapathy 69 doesn’t quite reflect his rising stardom.

Thalapathy 69: Cast Salaries and Bobby Deol’s Surprising Paycheck

According to industry reports, Thalapathy Vijay is taking home a jaw-dropping 275 crores for his role in Thalapathy 69. This monumental paycheck not only cements Vijay’s position as India’s highest-paid actor but also marks a significant moment as this is likely to be his final film before he ventures into politics.

On the other hand, despite his booming career, Bobby Deol is reportedly being paid a modest 5 crores for his role in the film. Considering his Animal fee ranged between 4-5 crores, there’s little to no salary hike, even after his exceptional performance in the blockbuster. In comparison to Vijay’s massive earnings, Bobby’s salary constitutes just 1.8% of the leading star’s remuneration.

No Salary Hike for Bobby Deol After ‘Animal’?

While Bobby Deol’s 5 crore paycheck might seem substantial on its own, fans and industry insiders expected a much higher number, especially after the critical acclaim he received for Animal. His character as the villain in the action-thriller raised the stakes for him in Bollywood, and many anticipated a significant pay increase for his subsequent roles. However, it seems that Bobby’s salary for Thalapathy 69 has remained the same as it was for Animal, with no substantial hike to reflect his growing demand in the industry.

About Thalapathy 69: The Anticipated Blockbuster

Set to be a political action thriller, Thalapathy 69 is directed by H Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions. Although the official title is yet to be revealed, expectations are sky-high. The film features a star-studded cast including Pooja Hegde as the lead actress, with supporting performances from celebrated actors like Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, and Mamitha Baiju.

This film is particularly special for Thalapathy Vijay, as it is expected to be his last before transitioning to politics. He is pulling out all the stops to make it a cinematic spectacle, which explains the hefty paycheck and the excitement surrounding the project.

What’s Next for Bobby Deol?

Although Bobby Deol’s pay for Thalapathy 69 is lower than expected, it’s clear that the actor’s career is on an upward trajectory. With several high-profile films in his lineup and the potential for more breakout roles, Bobby is still one of the most versatile actors in the industry. As his role in Thalapathy 69 unfolds, fans will be eager to see how his character contributes to what promises to be an epic cinematic experience.

In summary, while Thalapathy Vijay is commanding an astronomical salary for his much-anticipated Thalapathy 69, Bobby Deol’s earnings may not reflect his recent success in Animal. However, with his growing presence in both Bollywood and South Indian cinema, Bobby Deol is well on his way to establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in the industry.
